Yesterday evening (2013-04-06) at about 17:40 I received an SMS stating that R1500.00 was withdrawn from my Saving Account to AVAF ACCOUNT (Recoveries 011 221 7062/6966/7592). The numbers just rings. Searching the 'net it seems that it has to do with a BANKFIN account. I indeed have a BANKFIN account with arrangements via ABSA PTA to pay it off monthly via HACK STUPEL AND ROSS ATTORNEYS. When I enquired on 2 occasions what was the outstanding amount as well as a settlement value, I was told by Marius (a manager?) that he was looking for the file. On the 3rd time he said that the file had been send back to ABSA and that I should wait to hear from them. I am still waiting... It is not that I am not available or cannot be found, I have been with ABSA for more than 20 years with all the checks and FICA's constantly done, ABSA CC calls me to verify transactions, email me statements, and Thursday ABSA CC phoned to enquire to UP my Credit Card limit.
And by the way, ABSA, the money in the Savings account is my house mate's money to pay for the second round of bills following an operation he had.
I am not, nor have I ever been unwilling to pay off the BANKFIN account. Please contact me.
