After contacting First for Women regarding amounts debited from my account (note: I have never afforded them the consent to do this! The inception was January 2012), they have said that they will investigate and communicate the outcome to me. This was mid March and on 20 March an amount of - R877 was refunded to me.
The refunded amount is not the full amount owed by them - my calculations puts it way over R4000. This does not include my time spent to try to solve this (I'll start charging my engineering rates as stipulated by ECSA), the phone calls made, the interest they accrued while in possession of my money, inflation, interest I lost out on, bank charges etc.
This needs to get sorted, as I am fed up of going in circles, as no one is willing to take the responsibility and finalise the matter. The refund alone is admission to their practices!
