In August last year i was involved in car accident. i submitted a claim to miway shortly thereafter. I was told to pay the excess for my car to be repaired but before i could do so i went overseas for 4 months. When i followed up again in February to pay the excess, i was told the 6 months period has lapsed for me to pay the excess. I was told that in order for my car to repaired, i need to get my own panelbeater quotations and submit them to Miway for assessment then the payment will paid to either me or the panelbeaters. I have done that i have not received any communication or response from Miway in 1 month. I have tried in vain to follow up with the claims department without any success. Getting through to speak to anyone is futile as you are placed on hold until you give up. It is quite frustrating trying get anyone to speak to you and let you know the status of your claim.
