My mother had, or still has an account with ellerines. Now they work through ellerines when you pay your account. My mother took out a loan to settle all her accounts and my varsity fees. Ellerines was one of these accounts. About three months later she noticed that African bank still deducts a monthly payment even though the account is settled. We've been in and out of the African Bank branches in Oudtshoorn but they just cant helped us. On African Banks systems it shows the money entered their systems but left it again after a few days. We keep on calling head office but they just keep on ignoring us. About a month ago, through the help of a personal friend, we discovered the money was transferred back to Nedbank but they claim that they are unable to figure out its whereabouts. Im not sure exactly about the amount but its over R20000. Now my mother has to pay for the loan AND a account that has already been settled. PLEASE, if anybody can offer assistance, it would be greatly appreciated. These people just keep on ignoring us.
