Inappropriate deceit underpaying a legitimat claim

We are insured via outsurance and have a claim for earings as my mum in law has bought them. Not sure how the insurance works as we have out and about unspecified cover as we are underinsured and yet they would pay us less than that which is R3000. Becarefull
Outsurance and the team are trained to the be technical and beat about the bush and try tricks and trends to experiment on clients. As the documents don't clearly outline anything or nor have they mentioned anything rather quick to sell a policy and collect premiums monthly and annually.
They fail to have a relationship with a client. As previosly they would renew ones policy without renewals statements being received on 3 different policies; emails etc. If there is any hidden agenda it is mandatory for the insurance company to enligten the client and go through all that you claim is stated. For eg a pair is one item accordiny to convention you may be right. But numerically it is two items make a pair. One would like to now contact consumer court to get aid to understand this policy better. As its recorded and its evident they talk rigjht and walk left.
