Hello Peter,

My dad passed on late last year - may his soul rest in peace - and his employer submitted all the requirements for the processing of his funds. This was in October 2012. We never heard from Metra until we decided to phone them mid Feb and Jennifer adviced us to get the affidavits ready for an interview and promised to call within 7 days to set up the interview, which never happened! Two weeks later we again called them and spoke to Victor -the supervisor- who said they cannot travel to North west for one client as this is costly. My question to him was if we have to wait for them to get claims from NW, how long will it take and how is the family going to survive with no income!

Hoping for a satisfactory answer I called Quinton -the regional manager- on 5th March and he told me that they will call latest by Friday afternoon the 8th to discuss progress and set up the long awaited interview. No price for guessing whether they called.

In short, since my dad's claim was lodged we never heard from Metra, not even one call!

My dad's money is generating interest for someone and we are finding it hard to survive; can someone explain what is happening?
