The good and proper way to a client

I had never such a bad claim experience. Constant fighting to just get feedback about how my claim is progressing. At the end receive a rejection of the claim by phoning the assessor, because my claims handler couldn't be bothered to inform me.
The claim was rejected based on the recording where I stated that all my windows had burglar bars (as per Santam), yet I was confirming that all my bars are installed downstairs (as requested). When I signed up for the quote the consultant confirmed to me that it is important that my downstairs are burglar proof, not my upstairs. My upstairs windows are 5m of the ground and I was never once informed that small bathroom windows (5m off the ground and 30 cm in width) must have burglar bars. My bigger windows have burglar bars.
Now trying to get a hold of all my recordings and the line to Santam is so incredibly bad (phoning from a LAN line) that I cannot even put through a request for all my recordings to be sent to me.
Absolutely disgusted by the attitude, lack of communication that's now impeding me to submit my case to the ombudsman. The only thing Santam does know how to do is to take my money and refuse to answer calls! Disguste
