This Bank advertised that they are the best with the global one card with loans, debit facilities etc. I Banked there for three years depositing over R1.5M a average monthly deposit of R59K. Time came where my daughter needed a varsity loan. So i went in applied. They approved R153K. I did not need that amount and said i would take out a loan of R40K.
Now the punch line I need 3 payslips. I explained that I am self employed as a independent contractor. Oh no we don't lend monies to you type of guys. They took my monies for 3 years and did not worry about payslips.
then the major complaint. I tried to talk to the credit manager. He would not speak to me. Nor would anyone in management.
