First National Bank
Temporary Loans offers are Useless

I took up a temporary loan from FNB on 31 December 2012. The repayment date set for 02 Feb or the day that salary gets deposited into my account. One of FNB's terms state that they will track the account and debit for the loan amount when the salary gets deposited. That was fine. However, I had a deposit for a smaller amount than the loan put into my account 2 days after taking up the Temporary Loan (3 Jan 2012). This triggered that the entire loan amount, plus the fees & interest charged was debited from my account. This should not have occurred. I emailed the premier banker and left a complain on the 3rd at 8am. I heard back from the consultant later that day, who advised that the matter was transferred to someone else. I have since emailed and called and left messages on numerous occasions for someone to get back to me, to have this debit reversed so that I could have access to the funds until the end of the month. I am very disappointed with the service from FNB regarding this. We have all our accounts, financing etc with FNB and dont accept and expect this treatment. Resolve it or I will take this further.
