No Compassion!!!

I was shocked when I got a phone call during last week from a manager at First National Bank Head Office demanding my overdraft be paid in full after I had not paid money into my current account for about two months due to being unemployed. I explained that to the gentlemen and he then said I can pay R 1000.00 into my current account and then he could assist with not handing me over to legal. However being unemployed means that you have no money to pay anything. You don't even have food in your house. Where would one find even a R 1000.00!

I have a big problem with all these financial institutions not giving a person a chance to find new employment and bring accounts back up to date. After being a loyal customer for quite some time no compassion is shown to a person in this situation. Only demands!

Some compassion please!!! Stress levels are at a all time high.
