I had a claim last year in October, I hit a pothole with my car and both my left tyres bursted, my car also got hurt underneath. My car was sent to Auto Perfect in Vereeniging to be fixed. My excess was R6 000 (after I specifically enquired on how much my excess will be and I was told it will be R2 000 but because I have taken out excess cover it would only have been R1 000. )
I was very disappointed and not satisfied at ALL when I received my car back!!!
The quote from the panelbeater specifically was to replace new parts on my car, I can tell you now, that this was not the case. I bought this car brand new, and it's not even a year old, but I feel unsafe to drive in it now. We are not even using it, we are borrowing a car of a friend.
The front wheel area makes one of a noise when you drive, and when you go over a small bump it sounds like the car is going to fall apart!!! When we queried this, we were told that they didn't even work on the front left part of the car! When I hit the pothole, the front of my car hit the pothole first and thus had the most impact!! They charged for new tyres, which they didn't replace, the left front tyre was patched inside and
