I have cancelled my contract with Tax Relax in October of 2014 yet they have continued to debit my account since then (about R375 x 24 = R9000). I haven't made use of their services since I cancelled. They informed me that I renewed my contract in November of 2014. The renewal is hidden away in a one page document that you sign to confirm that the information provided to them is true and correct before they submit to SARS. I see that I am not the only person with this issue. The media is full of complaints of a similar nature. It seems that they have been doing this for years - defrauding who knows how many people out of who knows how much money - hundreds of thousands, millions? CON SOMEONE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS?
