I recently applied for a card, the platinum card specifically. I was declined, however approved for the gold card. Upon quering why they declined, the reason was given that they offered me on five previous occasions the platininum card. Now this to me is not a good enough reason. I would've understand if my affordabality or credit rating changed, but those things are still same.
The gold cards benefits are so much different and I've decided to rather decline. As I'm a loyal customer I think this will surely be my last doing business with African Bank
