Slogan "how can we help you" year right

My sister and I went to fnb tembisa plaza today to deposite money and when we got there I was surprised at the help we didnt get, yes the help we didnt get. We wanted to make a deposit with a teller and we were told that we had to use the atm that does deposits. We explained the reason we wanted to use the teller and they told us that the tellers dnt take anything less then R3000. They said that because they have atms that do deposits their tellers dont take deposits less then R3000 and thats how all the branches with these atms do. When we asked since when has this been in effect we were told that for a long time.

Now I have been an fnb customer for years and have never heard of such, fnb maponya has the same atms and they have never told me this. I am very disappointed in fnb. This basically means that the tellers dont do much work because how many people deposite R3000 at that branch a day. This is really unacceptable and some thing must be done about it unless u want your customers to start looking for other financial institutions to house their money
