Incorrectly debiting my account

I called Miway on the 08th of January to ask for a Car quote which I accepted. I then called them back on the same day to cancel the policy as I got a counter offer from my insurer. I was informed by their retentions specialist that the policy and debit order instruction was cancelled. On the 20th I realized that my was debited my account and called them to rectify the issue. I was informed to send them a bank statement with the amount reflecting for a refund to be requested. Magdeline from customer service informed me that the refund turnaround time was three days. Today is over a week and nothing has been done.

I then called again and spoke to Dibuseng from customer service who informed me that she will have to re submit another refund request that will take another 3 days. Miway was very quick to debit my account however finalizing my refund that was not supposed to be processed in the first place is an issue.
