When I opened my cheque account with FNB they explained all the benefits of my gold cheque account. I explained I had bad credit but even so they said, if I stick to making deposits in my account for 6 months I would automatically qualify for a credit card which I found strange. Then the option to buy a smart phone came up and with hassle I bought a phone with them last year however now that I tried to buy a phone again I get an sms saying declined cayse of bad credit! Where is the consistency with these people???
