I phoned Standard Bank to request them to re look at my interest rate as I had been offered lower rates by 2 other banks, all they said was they don't negotiate after a loan has been granted. I have now already served my notice and will be moving my home loan to FNB. I am also moving my cheque account to FNB. I'm not really looking for any response as I don't expect any viable resolution, I am merely trying to make Standard Bank aware that their poor customer service and banking practices are causing customers to go elsewhere.
