I had reported my car to Outsurance and they booked it in for hail damage repairs. Icalled Outsurance after they hadn't gotten back to me regarding the date for my car to go in for repairs. I was told that the person who does hail damage repairs in that company had relocated to another country. Then Outsurance refered me to East Rand Motor Lab. After one and a half months I was told my car was ready for collection. Upon arrival at East Rand Motor Lab, we checked the car only to find that the job was incomplete, the rear light was not fixed but to my horror I realized that the key imobilizer had been dismantled. When I enquirer how the key got dismantled the workers there took it to the workshop and tried to glue it together but it wasn't working. They then started fidgeting with the engines fuse box saying they were trying to encode the key and I wondered what could have changed the key coding from what it was and why they had to temper with the car's engine. I then called Outsurance and they told me to get a quote from Toyota which I did, Outsurance has not been of assistance with this matter. Tracker has confirmed that the tracking device in my car has been tampered. Daphne
