I have a personal loan. Originally R8000 and credit card of R2000 which I took years back.now both dem accumulated interest owing each more than R25000.my problem is african bank didn't make contact sooner seing that i was not paying my accounts only for them to wait until it accumulated so much interest .isn't it a law that u give a person summons after 6months and with all the ITC records and Rica laws its easy for an institution 2 trace an individual, african bank couldn't say they couldn't trace me to find out the what was the problem for not continuing with my monthly instalments, only to make contact with me after 5years or so, its like the were waiting for both this accounts to generate more interests before making contact with me or summoning me..I feel m being way overcharged looking at the original amount I took with african bank.
