I have a loan with SANLAM.
Upon taking out the loan over the phone (which was fast & efficient), I was told that I don't pay an installment in January, as you guys give the customers a break over January.
I was very happy with that especially and voiced it to the person I dealt with.
Now It has changed! I am very upset. TWO reasons!
Firstly, I didn't expect January to get deducted, as I was told we get a payment break in January! Secondly, my loan payment goes of on the 31st, so to have money deducted (which I was told won't be in Jan) on the 6th isn't right to begin with!
It's ridiculous, unless the skip month payment is only kicking in at the end of this month.
But then why not say that to begin with?
And why let me believe that it's now, by taking off money a WEEK LATE?
I am highly upset, as I have been a good client, and my payments are always perfect.
Please settle this issue.
I need to know what happened to this perk ASAP, or if I am jumping the gun and it's only for the end of this month.
