I have my car and household contents insured with Dial Direct. In june 2013 my premium was reduced to R847.00 when I moved from a small holding to a security complex. I have been with Dial Direct for more than 5 years. The amount deducted at the end of December was R1245.00. When queried I was told that the suppliers have increased their prices hence the increase (47% increase) no notification just that the amount was deducted from my account. No new policy schedule sent either. I had the run around for few days and was told that the best that they can do is reduce the premium to R1186.00. Still that is a R339.00 increase. I have a 2005 car and household contents. No Justification... Clearly is this their way of retaining customers???
