2 Dec 13: Received letter from Momentum that policy is cancelled with effect from 1 Dec 13 as per request. Premium still collected by debit order on same date.
11 Dec 13: I enquired about refund of the premium. Larochelle Smith responded that the premium will be refunded 10 working days after its collection. I calculate 10 working days to expire on 17 Dec 13.
20 Dec 13: I followed up the refund as it was overdue. Clarinda Kotze responded that the refund period is 20 days from premium payment and that I may request an expedited refund in writing. Thus the due date I calculated was 3 Jan 14. I complain about the difference between Larochelle and Clarinda. Natasha van Heerden responded to the complaint, calculating the remaining days as 11 calendar days (31 Dec 13) or 6 working days (2 Jan 14). Now it is already 4 days after the due date and I am still waiting for the refund.
