On 01/02/2013 i took Outsurance up on their primary advertising campaign which states that they will beat my current insurance premium or pay me R400. I phoned for a quote, and Outsurance was R300 more expensive than my current Auto and General premium. I phoned Outsurance twice to ask about the R400. Both times my call was transferred to someone else who left the phone ringing untill i hung up. After that i phoned the sales department again, who of course answered immediatly. I was told that i would be emailed a link which would allow me to continue the process. The agent confirmed my email address perfectly and assured me that the email had been sent. Now, 6 hours later, i still haven't received the email link. I left with the impression that Outsurance is extremely helpful with potential business, but when it comes to backing the promises of their primary advertising campaign, they leave me hanging, hoping that i'll give up trying...
