We made an offer to purchase a house at the end of November. Gerrit from Betterbond has had all our documents for three weeks now, he keeps promising we will have news on our bond application and then nothing. He does not reply to his emails or answer his phone. I am trying to move urgently and he has now stalled the entire process. We could have done this faster ourselves. I would advise anyone trying to buy a house to have no dealings with Gerrit. He works with the seller's agent so we were told we must go with him. So disgusted with the whole process and wish we had looked elsewhere.
