My husband was driving to pick up supplies when a client of Outsurance drove in front of him causing an accident. We received the documentation and filled in the claims form, stressing the importance of our car as it is our income. We receive the ruling today that their client is 70% to blame but by husband 30%. He is considered negligent because in braking for their client who admits she did not see him, he decided not to swerve into oncoming traffic or into parked cars risking his life and other road users. We drive what we can afford and the damage their client caused on our car is more than our cars value, they offer us 70% of the scrap value of our car not even the value of the car before their clients negligence. Now their client can afford to drive a new car, they are going to repair her car because its worth it and we must pay 30% of her repair, here comes the unbelievable part, the pathetic R6000 they offer us must now go to her repairs and we actually owe them R2000 for their clients recklessness. Where does this leave us, well our car is our income, we have no car because Outsurance now keeps it, now we have no income, thank you Outsurance, "you never get something out'
