I hate standard bank. I have been a customer for years but they can not do anything right. I recently have fallen into financial problems so I have sequestrated myself. I went into the bank and reversed all debit orders as well as stopped them. Today money was again taken from my account. I have now nothing. I tried phoning as I can not take time off of work as I work in the mining industry but all you get is automated recordings and asking me for my card and customer pin no. I will be closing my account. I will get my money back but now I have to go and stand in queues. Merry Christmas Standard Bank.
