On the 19th of December i phoned African Bank to ask if it is posdsible to make a payment before the debit day, i was told that it is very possible and that the normal debit wont take place if i had made direct deposit...
really???
FNB online Banking Statement:-
the following charges incurred because African Bank still debited my account even after i paid 10 days before the day of debit and even after i was rest assured that it wont debit mty account eitherway.
2012-12-31 #UNPAID ITEM CHARGE 0.00 -138.00
2013-01-02 #AFBNK 9963391001 121231 0.00 -6.50
i received an sms from AFBNK on the 03/01/2013 that my payment was not yet received and i called back to find that my payment reflect on your systems clearly. go talk to whoever update customers accounts and please refund me the charges incurred. am so embarrased and dissapointed by the way AFBNK is treating its customers.
and please, email me the statement of my account because every month i should call first to get attention.
R138 R6.50 or explain why do you debit me if i was assured i wont be debitted.
