I am so disappointed and it is actually a disgrace the way Absa consultants are treating your call when u do follow up or enquire about claim that was submitted almost 5mnths ago then they keep on telling you a different story on various occasions :( I submitted my claim in the start of Sept 2013, for the private sector security firm that i have worked with, to the fund and i was inform that the proses usually take about 6-8 wkes. i can even recall to all the consultants i have spoken over the last few months. Nd eventually when i request to speak to sum-one more superior their is no one available... I spoke to this gentleman Sibisuso who was very arrogant, rude and he did not even assist me in any manner I'm still where i was before i made the call. Lots of money has been spent just to get no info or assistance. I have been banking with Absa for as long as i can remember and never received such bad customer service nd now that i wane claim my rightfully own money i have to go threw allot of hassle and no proper communication just to get money that is rightfully mine back... Absa Provident fund Consultants need sum public relation skills. I'm seriously considering removing my account.
