I am in the process of buying a car, the company put insurance companies through to me to quote me on insurance. After completing a half hour call i was told all the options, i then asked if they could send me all the information for me to review before making my final decision. This is where it went all wrong, i got an email about an hour later welcoming me to the king price family to which i responded immediately saying all i wanted was a quote not to sign up, no reply.
Half an hour later i get a policy number and a breakdown of my newly signed up contract. I responded immediately saying all i wanted was a quote, no response. I then call the office and after waiting 15 minutes get hold of an consultant who tells me i authorized it and i will be debited on Saturday for it. After being told i will be transferred to the original consultant, Johnson, i get through he tells me that i authorized it, when i said i didn't he gave me attitude and i then said he must review the recording of our conversation. Almost immediately I'm transferred to accounts/policies.
When i tell the lady on the other end to cancel it she says its a bad line and will call me back and hangs up. NO CALL YET
