I am really upset with ABSA. I had an outstanding credit card with them in 2009. I settled the account in 2011 after it was handed over to Newtons attorneys. Me reference number at Norton attorneys was (R27921). Today I received a message from Norman Bisset and associates (a debt collecting agency) that I need to make payment. Reference number at Norman Bissit is AB015929 They claim I have not made payment since 2009. I have a proof of payment to newtons for all my payments made. Last payment made was 2011/10/07.
Please sort this out while I scour through my email in an attempt to get my settlement letter I received in 2011.
This is totally unacceptable and just reminds me why I moved my account to FNB.
