Appalling Service

On 1 July 2013 my brand new Jeep was involved in a motor accident. The vehicle insurance was taken with Chrysler Insurance and the insurer is Regent. The service i received from the moment i lodged the claim was dismal.

1.Firstly the company was offline.
2.Thereafter Regent said that due to the value of the claim they would have to investigate. Yes the claim amount wold be high its a brand new Jeep! On the 26th of July the insurance company finally received the assessors report and were satisfied.
3. Regent then claimed that I was liable for R 45 681.23 (they were alleging that my cover was interrupted) an excess of R 3500 a portion of the towing bill.
4. Finally after much debate and 5 months after my accident Regent has agreed that i am only liable for the excess of R 3500 a portion of the towing bill.

All this after i had to send emails to prove that there was no interruption of cover, re-send Regent correspondence they had sent me regarding the towing (i have dealt with 3 different people, i sent emails to the complaints department as well as Chrysler Compliance.

This whole process has been so painful and stressful and i still don't have my vehicle to date.
