I think this new thing that we cannot contact our branch directly is a load of BULL. I applied for a business RC loan via email with my business banker almost a week ago. She went on a course (which might be necessary and I can understand that) and were out of reach for 3 days. Before she left she said that she sent through all my documents to VAF and that they will contact me. 3 days later no one has contacted me, and the call centre has no record of that application ever being lodged. Now I can't get hold of anyone at my branch, or the person at VAF my documents got sent to, and all the call centre says is they will send them emails. I am pressed for time as I need to make an important business decision depending on the outcome of my application. I do not blame anyone for this, I think the procedure.
