I have an ongoing problem in that I am being harassed for ever-changing payment amounts by this company. I have agreed to pay R300 to my woolworths account on the last day of the month. I have received 4 calls this month demanding R915 or I will be handed over. One agent rudely told me my unemployment was my problem and again threatened me. I have received a threatening letter stating that I have ignored/refused to pay which is nt the case as I make a payment every month and have receipts to prove it. I also received a copy of a registered letter which I have been charged for but the letter was sent surface mail.
Surely refusing to accept a payment term is contrary to the financial services act? Is this company even registered as they seem to be acting outside of the law.
4 calls a month also constitutes harassment especially when I am making regular payments.
