Default listed for a bank account that had issues

I had an fnb account that was opend many years ago . i started working an my sallery was paid into this account. i then had debit orders on this account and i staretd to experience problems where my debit orders would go off but the creditor would not recieve payment and couold only confirm when i submit banks statements. i reported this account to the brooklyn branch and the consult then suggessted that while this is being invetsiugated they will opene an new account and the bank manager agreed. Last year fnb listed me for a default amount of 600 i then paid it up but refuse to remove this default they claim that they send me a letter i mean in this new era we use emails i still have an account and i am using the new account as their client and they stil didnt call me or even notify me i never moved to another bank there was many ways to recover this money instead of me being listed while i am having a current account with them . and now i have to hear about it remain 2 yrs on my name for what as it is not my fault that i never recieved any feedback on the issue that was logged and i continue to use my new account and now it causes issues for me as i cant get credit of being liste
