First National Bank
Ridiculous Authetication

I've recently changed my number and I phoned FNB to change my incontact and OTP numbers. I urgently needed to do an EFT, called FNB to have my number changed so I could do a transaction. To be authenticated, I was asked ridiculous questions like "what is the current balance on your Edgars Account" and "What is the amount outstanding on your Nashua and African Bank Accounts" When I wasn't sure about the amounts, the authentication failed and I was told to go to a branch to change the numbers I NEEDED TO CHANGE!!! How ridic!?! The main reason I changed to FNB was the convenience of being able to transact without stepping into a branch, plus the many other benefits they promised. I'm not happy about the questions they ask when they Authenticate at all. What happened to DIRECT questions like ID numbers and the last four digits on your card, and pin, or the expiry date??? Even today I'm unable to do important EFT transactions because of the failed authentication. I must say; this was a REAL inconvenience and I'm totally dissapointed in you FNB. thanks for the set back!
