HOME LOAn PROBLEM

I have a home loan with FNB and this has been running for 8 years now. I was shocked when I received my first statement last month telling me I still had 18years to complete my bond payments. I sent them an email inquiring on this and was called a week later by a consultant who could not give me a proper reason behind this. I told her I had my loan for 3 years and decided to extend the loan terms for a cash break but after a month, only noticed that what I was now paying was about a R100 less than what I should be paying and this was not a break to me at all. I called FNB Homeloans and asked them to reverse this back to what it had been and was told all was back on track and I would be back to my origional payments and origional loan terms. She confirmed all I had told her and said she would escalate this as she could not understand too why I now had 18years to go instead of 12. She called me again a week later to explain that they could not reverse this as changes were made due to affordability. Hello, when did FNB now know what I can or cannot afford and why was I never told of these changes? FNB wants to money from me. I am truly disappointed by this unprofessional conduct
