We were very impressed with the manner in which our claim was handled. My wife had lost a very valuable anniversary ring and we submitted a claim to Outsurance.
Once, the claim has lodged, i was contacted very promptly by Mr Naidoo from SIAS who wanted to meet and finalise the claim. Regretably, my wife was busy at work and was unable to meet him for two days.
Arrangements were then made for him to meet her at her workplace to finalise the claim. She described him as very pleasant and polite gentleman.
Although the item was specified as and out and about ring, we were not sure whether this claim would have even been considered (given the rampant in the insurance industry and just our word that it was genuinely misplaced and lost).
Regardless, our claim was finalised much to our joy and even though we cannot replace an item of such sentimental value, the satisfaction of obtaining a replacement did indeed put a positive spin on this episode. Such goodwill on the side of an insurance company surely inspires us to continue patronising and recommending Outsurance.
