Called to cancel my vehicle insurance this morning, not because I was unhappy with Miway but because I decided to consolidate my vehicle and household insurance with Discovery.
Lemmy was so helpful with the cancellation and did not push me in an abrasive way to stay, he did however point out what he could offer on a consolidated policy and suggested that should I wish to come back one day (he is convinced that I definitely will!) I should take out an accidental death cover policy to keep my profile active and it only costs R21 per month. I have done that. He also then decreased my last months insurance premium by almost R200. Within seconds my new policy documents arrived and the cancellation has reflected as per my request.
I cant believe that I called to cancel and was offered a discount on my final month!
Lemmy was so sweet and friendly and it was an absolute pleasure chatting to him.
Miway has been fantastic anyway, but Lemmy really was the icing on the cake. I somehow get the feeling that you were right Lemmy, I will be back one day.
