Hi all I have signed up a policy with Warranty Solutions company. I had a problem with my vehicle which a quotation was sent to Warranty Solution by Bosch Service Centre to the value of R21500 and W.S sent out an assessor. They came back to me stating a pay out of R6150 and the rest of the money I must pay. I have contacted W.S and spoke to guy name Mark H about the pay out, he explained that due to Wear and Tear this is the reason a pay out of that amount was paid but under the T&C the components that needs to replaced are under the Engine and Electronic parts. When I signed up the policy I asked the question if anything go's wrong with my engine will I be covered and the lady Bonnie explained yes to the amount of R10000 and I have taken out a top up of an additional R4000 for the Engine. Now only to realise that this is not the case. When having numerous conversation with Mark H as to why will this fall under Wear and Tear as per their T&C's it clearly stipulates that these components falls under the Engine/ Electronic parts. We then went back and forth on this discussion and he told me I can do what ever I want and can go to the Ombudmans or the CPA
