I am an amateur when it comes to the operations of Credit Bureaus and I do not understand the process but why I do know is that ITC is quick to source data regarding new debt from 'somewhere' but then fails to maintain details of payments or paid-up accounts. My Credit Profile held by ITC contains a list of accounts from micro-lenders that have been CLOSED / PAID-UP some time ago. The creditors insist that they do NOT send data to ITC, specifically, and they (the Creditors) do not know how ITC is obtaining this data but now it becomes the Creditor's problem because ITC does not update the profile with the latest info. If you want to maintain credit information, TransUnion ITC, please maintain it accurately. Fix the information held on your system. The incorrect info is affecting my affordability.
