POOR SERVICE and NO ACCOUNTABILITY

There is a few rotten apples at FNB that gives this bank a bad bad name. I applied for a review for a personalized interest rate on my CC since my current bank offers me 14%. I have previously logged a compliant on this website with no joy... just an email that say sorry we cannot offer you that. Not even a phone call to explain why. I have been banking with ABSA for many year and you just showed me why i should not bank with you. Shame on you Vuyo Maqungu!!! This is what he says "They have advised that they are not in the position to reduce interest rate lower than the offered rate of 15%. The rates are personalized and this is the rate that you qualify for currently. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to escalate your complaint." Why you thank me for what your failures.

And then I went to the Parktown branch, Very helpfull lady by the name of Bridget tried to help me but she gave up after an hour of having to deal with her unprofessional colleagues. yes I sat down there with her for one hour.

Now the question... does it even help to complain on here..
