"There is nothing we can do"

I am trying to change my debit order date from the 20th of every month to the 22nd. I called MFC and they told me that this month's debit orders will go off no matter what because they have already been scheduled. The consultant told me that there is nothing that can be done to mitigate this problem.

Basically what they are saying to me is that the debit orders will go off on the 20th, they will bounce and I will have to pay R180 (for the bounced debit orders) of my money because I called in too late, I should have called in a week before the debit order day.

This is utter nonsense! I was able to change my Nedbank home loans debit today from 20 to the 22nd with no problems, if MFC is part of Nedbank, why in the world would they not be able to change my vehicle debit order??

Maybe it is time to change companies.
