Debit order paid without authorization

FNB insurance brokers put through a R13000 debit on my account without any form of authorization from me. The only reason they even have my bank details is because they paid money into my account for a previous claim - I have always paid by cheque. The problem with absa is that they paid the money without checking any form of approval! When I questioned them I was told that it is my responsibility to ensure that no one has my bank details because they never check for authorization. There is no protection offered whatsoever!! My bank is doing nothing to protect my money. They will not be my bank for long.
