Absa
Credit Limit Increase sent to my late Husband

My husband passed away in July 2012 and since then ABSA has continued to send marketing mailers and increased credit limits to my husband. The most painful thing about this is that they have changed his details on their computer from Mr. DJ Baker to Mr. Late Baker so it is confirmed that their records have been updated indicating he is deceased. One would assume that they would remove him from their marketing list. As a recently widowed person it is extremely painful when I receive letters addressed to my late husband but it is even more painful to receive letters addressed to the Mr. Late Baker. I feel that this is extremely stupid and insensitive and that the bank should take better care when updating their records. Please can ABSA show some COMPASSION!!!
