Never Insure through MiWay

I recently took out insurance with MiWay and covered my 1 car, household and homeowners insurance and was satisfied with the premium they quoted me.

Month 1: I was debited more than promised. They promised to rectify the issue and amend the amount the following month including the amount overcharged.

Month 2: No refund and the over debit me again. After making a fuss I was finally reimbursed for all the money owed to me.

Month 3: We then bought a new vehicle and requested a Quote. They quoted me nearly R3000 for ONE CAR, this is over and above what I was already paying. I received a quote elsewhere and they quoted me under R3000 for EVERYTHING (my house, my contents and both vehicles). I asked Miway if they could please review the quote as I am already a member and they would not lower the quote.

I then decided to cancel on the spot and go with the other insurer. Its been a week and I still have not received a refund for my prorata premium and have received no responses to my queries. MiWay cares about money and nothing else. As soon as they get into your pocket, customer service, client retention and responding to queries goes out the window.
