I have applied for a loan for debt consolidation which was declined, i have been banking with FNB for ages. Also in terms of the approval of these loans i dont think consideration is taken to the fact that by paying all other debt off, there is a bigger surplus available and paying towards one entity. It is very dissapointing to deal with your own bank and not been granted help in times of difficulty
