A truck hit me and scratched my car on the left side. This happened around 7:05 this morning but getting hold of Budget was a mission as the claims line opens at 8:00. I spoke to 3 or 4 people before getting through to Zama Zulu at 8:21. She is the least empathetic person I've ever spoken to. After experiencing such a shock you want to hear a caring voice (even if it's fake). When I asked her direct questions she answered her own thing and kept telling me about the process.
The most upsetting thing is that I pay R1136.40 every month, I have never missed a payment. Yet when I call for help I get treated like I've committed a serious crime.
I also spoke to the manager, Monadia Suleiman, who actually answered my questions and was very patient. Unfortunately this incident has shown me that I need to switch to another insurer.
