I have a payment arrangement with ABSA which I have been honouring diligently every month. Last week I receive a text message advising that my account was handed over to a legal firm. No prior advise of this was provided to me neither via post, telephone or email.
I'm woken up each morning daily by these attorneys, I've sent 7 emails to ABSA Legal dept however not one attempt has been made to contact me back.
I receive collection calls every second day from Absa, but none to advise me before handing my account over for legal action. I repeatedly explain my situation to each agent on each call and continue paying as per arrangement? I REFUSE TO DEAL WITH ANY ATTORNEY.
