In mid January I contacted Outsurance to give me a quotation (note: ONLY A QUOTE) on 2 x vehicles and household content as of 1 Mar when I'd be moving to a new address. Well now, as I already had an existing policy with them, this gave them licence to start 'Willy Nilly' changing my existing policy to those of the quotation.

After numerous calls and even more consultants, the policy schedule kept changing as they got all my new information confused with the old. At one stage, they even had me parking my vehicle overnight in Muizenberg Cape Town and driving it to Pretoria on a DAILY BASIS where it would be parked during the day! How is that even humanly possible?!

Then they decide to remove one of the vehicles which was previously insured but after I pointed out that the vehicle had been erroneously removed, they REINCLUDED the same vehicle and BILLED me for the privilege once again! This was despite the fact that I had already paid a full premium on the 15th of Jan!

My advice: If you are looking for efficient management of your insurance info, then OUTSURANCE is NOT an insurance to go with!
