I MADE THE FOLLOWING COMPLAINT TO A MONTH AGO AND PHONED IN TO THEIR CALL CENTRE. I AM STILL WAITING FOR FEEDBACK. I THINK IT'S TIME TO CANCEL MY CREDIT CARD WITH NEDBANK.
I have a Nedbank Voyager credit account and the statement closes on the 4th of every month. For the period 5 June - 4 July, I had a statement balance of R862 which was meant to be settled by 29 July. I have been charged a finance charge of R128 for that amount - how that works is beyond me? I phoned their call centre and was told that I am charged interest since the date the different transactions were made. There were transactions since 3 June made but however, I made a payment into my credit account on 20 June that left me with a positive balance of over R2000. However, they still charged interests for the transactions since 3 June. I was provided with a breakdown showing that the interest amount is in the region of R13 - WHAT THE IS THE R115 FOR THEN? This sounds like a - if I don't check my statement and just agree to it, then Nedbank scores. This sounds like daylight to me. Can someone from Nedbank who actually has a clue what is going on get in touch with me???
